LingoCoach Terms of Use
These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of LingoCoach ("the App"), developed and operated by Apecoo LLC ("we", "us", "our"). By using the App, you agree to these Terms.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using LingoCoach, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
2. Description of Service
LingoCoach is an AI-powered language learning application that provides speaking practice, writing evaluation, reading content, vocabulary review, and translation features. The App uses third-party AI services to generate language learning content and feedback.
3. Account Registration
- You may create an account using Apple Sign-In, Google Sign-In, email, or use the App as a guest.
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
- You may delete your account at any time through the App's Settings.
4. Subscriptions and Payment
- Free Trial: New users receive a 14-day free trial with limited daily AI requests.
- Premium Subscriptions: Monthly and yearly subscription plans are available with higher daily request limits.
- Subscriptions are billed through Apple's App Store. Payment is charged to your Apple ID account.
- Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
- You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your device's Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the App for any unlawful purpose.
- Attempt to circumvent usage limits or access controls.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App.
- Use the App to generate harmful, abusive, or inappropriate content.
- Share your account credentials with others.
6. AI-Generated Content
The App uses AI to generate language learning content, feedback, and translations. AI-generated content may not always be accurate. We do not guarantee the correctness of any AI output. The App is intended for language learning purposes and should not be relied upon for professional translation or interpretation.
7. Intellectual Property
The App and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Apecoo LLC and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. Content you create (essays, conversations) remains yours.
8. Third-Party Services
The App integrates with third-party services including OpenAI (for AI features), Google Translate (for translation), and Supabase (for authentication). Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apecoo LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App.
10. Termination
We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your account at any time for violation of these Terms. You may stop using the App and delete your account at any time.
11. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
